Privacy Policy

1. Who runs this

Kasalink is an independently operated wedding website project, not a registered company. This page explains how we handle information you and your guests provide. Contact: kasalinkph@proton.me.

2. What we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone (if provided), password (hashed)
• Wedding site content: couple names, slug, dates, venues, photos, section text
• Guest tools data: guest lists, RSVP responses, seating assignments
• Technical data: device/browser basics, IP, logs needed for security and reliability
• When you accepted the Terms and Privacy Policy, and which version
• Payment: we do not collect card numbers in the app. You send payment proof by email; we record that publish was confirmed
• Session cookies so you can stay signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics pixels on the marketing site

3. How we use it

We use this information to create and run your account, host your wedding site, enable RSVP and seating, send transactional emails (for example registration and publish payment instructions), and keep the service secure. By creating an account you agree we may use this information to provide the service.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We use hosting and email vendors only as needed to run the site. Public wedding pages show only what you choose to publish. Guests see information you make available for RSVP or find-your-seat. GCash, Maya, and banks are separate services you use to pay us; we do not operate them.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account and wedding data while your account is active and for a reasonable period after your publish window lapses, so we can restore from backups and answer payment questions. If you do not renew, we may delete the account, wedding content, and uploaded photos afterward to free up storage. Deleting your own account from Manage Account removes it immediately and permanently.

6. Your choices

You can view and edit your account and wedding details in the dashboard. Email us if you need help. You can permanently delete your account, wedding site, guests, and photos from Manage Account at any time.

7. Security

We use reasonable organizational and technical measures (access controls, hashed passwords, HTTPS). No method of transmission is perfectly secure; please use a strong unique password.

8. Children

The couple dashboard is not directed at children. Guest lists may include minors’ names you enter as the couple. Only add a child’s name if you have the right to do so (for example you are their parent, or they are on your guest list with family permission).

9. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy and bump the version above. Significant changes will be reflected for new registrations; we may also notify active accounts when appropriate.
